Meet Nick
Hello,
My name is Nick Watson. I am the founder and owner of Roadcraft Driver Coaching, and have been a government Approved Driving Instructor since July 2013.
When I started Roadcraft in February 2015, I had one simple goal in mind: to help as many people as possible to achieve theirs. My approach to driver training has always been to guide my clients through the learning process in a patient, personable and professional manner, while ensuring their safety, satisfaction and success as a top priority.
Although I predominantly train learner drivers, since 2019 I have also trained those seeking to become Approved Driving Instructors and have personally trained all but one of the Roadcraft instructor team. This has helped Roadcraft to expand its local influence, reach and serve more customers, and become the leading, thriving driving school that it is today.
And I'm proud to say that those talented and hard-working instructors who have joined me on this journey, and who have contributed so significantly to the reputation of the business, have gone on not just to become my colleagues, but also my friends.

Meet Sandy
Hi there, I’m Sandy.
I started my ADI journey in February 2022. Fully qualified within 3 months by May 2022. Driving has always been my thing.
Since passing my own driving test in 2013 I have went on to pass various different driving license categories through the years and have driven multiple different vehicles of all sizes. I’ve always enjoyed teaching and helping others achieve their goals. There's no better feeling than guiding people to gain their driving licence and experience the freedom of the roads safely.
I provide a relaxed, fun and friendly environment, teaching and connecting with each pupil individually to develop their skills. With a positive can-do attitude anyone can achieve what they believe in. Each person will get safe, knowledgeable and practical experience every time they get into my car for a lesson.
The goal each lesson is to learn, develop and demonstrate safe, independent driving skills on the road. With my professional help and determination to help each pupil this can certainly be achieved.

Meet Lukasz
Hi, I’m Lukasz,
I qualified as an ADI in June 2023. Ever since I can remember I’ve always been a huge car enthusiast and always wanted to help people become better drivers to make our roads safe. I enjoy road trips, photography, cycling & hillwalking. I have 2 rescue dogs.
I’m a strong believer that successes are absolutely great and we all strive to achieve them. But in fact the path to every success always leads through imperfections & mistakes. That’s how we grow & become better versions of ourselves. I always say to my learners “Don’t be afraid of making mistakes in this car, because it’s a safe environment to make them. If you make them in this car, we can fix them to make sure you don’t make them again in your own car when driving independently”.
I like to think that my job as an ADI is to create a scaffolding which enables you to build yourself up as a safe driver. I’m here to create a safe, relaxed and fun environment in which we can work together to develop your skillset and assist you in becoming confident & safe road user.

Meet Tye
​
I'm Tye and I qualified as an ADI in April 2025 after 6 months as a PDI. I'm a father of 3, I've always had a passion for cars and motor racing and have worked in the motor industry and providing training for the majority of my professional life.
I became an ADI because I really enjoy driving and wanted to help others get on the roads safely. I aim to provide a calm environment during lessons. I know learning to drive can be difficult, and keeping the stress levels down is key to letting all the information coming at you sink in. I always say "Mistakes don't show us we can't do something, they show us what we need to work on".
I'll help you build your skillset one mile at a time and provide progressive incremental learning that gives you confidence on the roads to last a lifetime. ​

Meet Ben
Hello, I'm Ben Kivlin
With over 15 years as an Approved Driving Instructor, I am Roadcraft's most experienced team member.
Over the course of my instructor career, I have coached countless learner drivers to success with a calm, patient and down-to-earth teaching style. I have worked with individuals with learning difficulties, disabilities, and all manner of driving-related nerves.
Originally from the Edinburgh area, my previous driving school was voted in the "10 Best Driving Schools in Dalkieth" by StarOfService.com. This recognition was a direct result of the school's local, word-of-mouth reputation.
When I moved to Perthshire in 2018, I joined forces with Nick at Roadcraft, and since day one, it's been a rewarding and enjoyable experience being part of this team.

Meet Robert
Hello. I'm Robert Bruce.
With over 40 years behind the wheel and 20 of those as an advanced driver, I bring a wealth of real-world driving experience to every lesson. For the past 8 years, I’ve worked as an Approved Driving Instructor, helping learners of all ages and abilities gain the skills and confidence needed to become safe, capable drivers for life.
My teaching style is calm, clear, and practical. I believe in turning every moment behind the wheel into a learning opportunity—packed with helpful tips, memorable sayings, and simple strategies to make driving click. Whether it’s remembering mirror routines or handling roundabouts with ease, I’ve got a saying or prompt to make it stick.
Learners often tell me I make driving less stressful and more enjoyable. I focus not just on passing the test, but on building lifelong safe driving habits. I’m here to guide, support, and adapt to your pace—so you get the most out of every lesson.

Meet Stephen
Hello, I’m Stephen Pearson
I qualified as an ADI in 2024 with Roadcraft after some previous experience at a national driving school, I feel I really improved as an instructor once I joined forces with Nick and the team at Roadcraft.
I have always had a passion for cars and since passing my own driving test in 2014, almost all of my previous employment involved driving. I have a wealth of experience on the road and I like to think I keep a calm and relaxed environment in the car. Mistakes are always going to happen but I aim to provide a safe space to do so and a clear idea of how we can resolve them.
Everyone takes to driving at different speeds and I’m happy to adapt to everyone’s needs. As long as we get there as safely as possible then that’s the main goal.
There is no better feeling than helping people and watching them grow into confident and safe drivers and I feel very privileged that this is my career.
